This role will contribute experience and visual design expertise from concept development to product launch across a range of patient-centric digital experiences. You’ll work cross-functionally to deliver exceptional creative solutions that unify form and function while ensuring business objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define the mood, tone, look, and feel to position future products and services, translating that direction into high-quality experience prototypes that are intuitive and enjoyable to use.
  • Elevate and maintain our design standards through direct contribution across a wide range of design outputs and mediums, from designing consumer apps to bringing a patient journey to life with visual storytelling.
  • Demonstrate a high level of accountability, flexibility, initiative, and the ability to prioritize resource workload to efficiently deliver results.
  • Present and persuasively communicate design rationale across stakeholder groups at various levels, including internal teams and external vendors and partners.
  • Bring an attention to detail and a passion for all aspects of design and visual storytelling including typography, motion, copy, and art direction.
  • Understand component-based design systems and have the ability to determine when to adhere to existing patterns and styles and when break constraints.
  • Embrace a learning and growth mindset that contributes positively to a culture of critique, collaboration and honest reflection.

Qualifications

  • Over 5 years of experience in design, specifically for digital mediums.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Design, such as Digital Design, Interaction Design, Visual Communication Designer, Human Computer Interaction or a similar field. Equivalent practical experience is also acceptable.
  • Exceptional portfolio of creative design work spanning multiple design projects and mediums, with on interface or screen-based experiences.
  • Deep understanding of foundational design principles with excellent command of type, grid, composition and color.
  • Demonstrable experience identifying and addressing user pain points, finding creative solutions to improve usability and overall product performance.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, possessing the ability to make complex ideas simple and consumable for a broad range of collaborators.
  • A creative and collaborative spirit to build strong relationships and effectively navigate conflict with peers and partners.
