Job Title: Senior Manager, Digital Content Strategy

Primary Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid role: 3 days in office, 2 days work from home)

In this exciting role, you will lead and mentor a high-performing content and SEO strategy team, reporting to the Director of the Digital Go-to-Market group within the core Sales Strategy organization. You and your team will develop and execute a comprehensive digital content strategy that aligns NXP business objectives across global product and solution organizations, connecting these strategies to highly complex customer journeys and buying processes. You will collaborate with global, cross-functional and multi-cultural teams to align content and journey with a wide array of business objectives.

You will be responsible for research and clear understanding of target markets and segments, incorporating strategies from senior leaders for product, solution and technology across a fast-moving global company, leading the team that facilitates the creation of compelling, high-quality, engaging, accurate, informative content fit to core strategies, information architecture and digital journey, and the core digital go-to-market content strategy for NXP. Primary and core focus is NXP website and web/digital strategy, but your extended strategy spans the entire digital journey for NXP customers throughout the funnel and across NXP’s extensive digital footprint.

Key Responsibilities

You and your team will:

  • Develop and maintain deep understanding of market and sales strategies with strategy leaders within this global semiconductor company, cultivating strong relationships and intimate understanding of individual business strategies.

  • Synthesize and evangelize strategies across multiple global lines of business and core sales and marketing strategies to create coherent content journeys for the customer across product offerings.

  • Develop robust content strategies aligned with overall strategic goals, understand semiconductor customer pain points, needs, and buying behaviors, with core influence on end-to-end digital journey and delivery/placement of company messaging around product, solutions, thought leadership positioning, and brand awareness.

  • Influence or direct the development of content to fit core digital strategy for the web and digital go-to-market across multiple lines of business and marketing teams.

  • Define and maintain robust SEO and content syndication strategies.

  • Define and evolve executive level KPIs to measure content success and track progress.

  • Advise across global company to generate compelling and informative content that fits into the structure and strategy for Digital Go-to-Market in NXP.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) within the company to produce high-quality content with accurate information that resonates with both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Advise content creators on fit-to-journey and contribute to content reuse strategies.

  • Partner with Brand to enforce guidelines for voice and tone consistency across all content assets and UX/Design teams to ensure alignment to standards promoting stronger brand presence.

  • Coordinate with digital marketing and lead management to ensure single vision of content fit-to-journey and strategic alignment.

  • Monitor content performance using analytics tools to identify key metrics like website traffic, lead generation, social engagement, and conversion rates.

  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven adjustments to the content strategy.

  • Regularly report on content performance and insights to key stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of B2B marketing and buyer journey with high aptitude for learning complex market and strategies

  • Ability to manage team and inspire teams across diverse geographies with mixed skill sets and levels of experience

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and product development

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions

  • Extensive knowledge of SEO best practices and content optimization techniques

  • Awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies

  • Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt to different content formats

  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging content

  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and analytics platforms

Education and Experience

  • Master’s (or, with appropriate experience, Bachelor's) degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism, or a related field

  • 10+ years of related experience (prefer technology industries)

  • Proven management experience in complex corporate environments

  • Proven experience in high-tech B2B content marketing or content strategy, ideally with a background in technology industries

  • Previous experience managing stakeholder negotiation and communication at all levels of company, including executive stakeholders

  • Proven program and project management and project leadership skills.

  • Experience with digital marketing channels and strategies, digital marketing platforms, and web management practices.
