About the RoleCloudflare is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented college intern to join our Analytics team. In this role, you will focus on setting up dashboards, calculated metrics, and segments within our Adobe suite of services, while also contributing to data quality assurance and enrichment projects. This internship is an excellent opportunity for a current college student who is eager to apply academic knowledge to real-world challenges in digital analytics and data management within a high-tech, global environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Dashboard Setup & Maintenance:
- Collaborate with the Analytics team to design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards using Adobe Analytics and related tools.
- Ensure dashboards are optimized, user-friendly, and aligned with Cloudflare's business and performance objectives.
- Calculated Metrics & Segmentation:
- Develop and implement calculated metrics and custom segments in the Adobe suite to support detailed analysis of digital data.
- Work closely with team members to refine and adjust metrics and segments based on evolving insights and business requirements.
- Data Quality & Enrichment Projects:
- Conduct regular audits and analyses to identify gaps or discrepancies in data, ensuring the highest quality standards.
- Contribute to projects aimed at cleaning, standardizing, and enriching data, thereby enhancing the accuracy and depth of our reporting and insights.
- Collaboration & Reporting:
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, engineering, and security, to understand reporting requirements and translate them into actionable dashboards and metrics.
- Prepare clear documentation and deliver presentations on findings to various stakeholders across the organization.
- Learning & Development:
- Stay abreast of the latest trends in data analytics, Adobe tools, and digital marketing technologies.
- Engage in continuous learning through Cloudflare's internal training programs and collaborative team sessions, contributing innovative ideas to ongoing projects.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Marketing, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Basic familiarity with Adobe Analytics or similar analytics platforms is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets; experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
- Demonstrated analytical skills with an aptitude for interpreting data to generate actionable insights.
- Exposure to programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, or R) is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Effective problem-solving capabilities and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A proactive learner who is enthusiastic about working with data and driving innovation.
