Position Summary: 

As a Data Analyst within the Data Product Management team, you'll play a crucial role in shaping and deriving value from the underlying data foundation for Meridianlink employees, partners, and customers. Your mission: create data products,analytics, and AI/ML applications that extract valuable insights from structured and unstructured data. You'll drive business decisions by providing quantitative and qualitative data analysis, reporting patterns, insights, and trends to decision-makers. 

You'll collect, aggregate, and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources to drive insights into business performance. Your work will produce actionable reports that show key performance indicators, identify areas of improvement in current operations, and display root cause analysis of problems. 

 

Expected Duties: 

-Collaborate to build intuitive data visualizations that offer deep and actionable insights against complex and dynamic business challenges in the Fintech space. 

-Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of data flows, available data, and standard reporting across Meridianlink systems. 

-Identify the business data needed to produce the most useful insights and future analytics. 

-Maintain an inventory of current and future use cases for analytical data and/or AI/ML applications. 

- Direct stakeholders and data consumers to the appropriate certified datasets and reporting. 

-Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of business intelligence tools and AI/ML applications. 

-Monitor data management processes to ensure data quality and consistency. 

 

Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 

- We are seeking candidates with strong analytical skills that have a passion for telling stories with data. 

-The ideal candidate will have a track record collaborating with business partners to identify trends and anomalies within data for use in business process improvement.  

-Hands on experience curating data with business intelligence tools and/or SQL/Python to drive business analysis and/or business processes. 

-Working knowledge of Business Intelligence tools such as PowerBI, SiSense, Tableau. 

-Strong communication skills to collect business requirements and drive business alignment. 

- Proficiency with office productivity applications such as Excel and Powerpoint. 

- Familiarity with enterprise business systems such as Netsuite and Salesforce. 

- Understanding of software development operations processes and agile development frameworks 

- Understanding of DevOps tools, such as JIRA and Azure Devops 

-Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of relevant professional experience (or equivalent work experience).

Salary range of $78,100 - $110,300. [It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range.] The actual salary will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law including geographical location.
