We are seeking a DAS Support Engineer to join our team at JMA Wireless. This position will  provide Remote Technical and Field Support for JMA DAS. Support JMA customers, and internal personnel. Troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues that have been escalated from Customers, Sales, Product Management and Level 3 support.  Provide expertise and input to Engineering on suggested improvements to the JMA DAS product. You are required to provide advance trouble shooting to wireless customers that include experience with a Spectrum Analyzer, PIM test sets and Anritsu Site Master for sweep testing. Sense of urgency and attention to opening, updating and closing tickets. Very strong organizational skills so you properly follow internal procedures. The position will report to the Tech Support Director. 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Onsite and remote trouble shooting for all JMA customers
  • Supports team efforts (Engineering, Quality, Customer Support, Sales)
  • 50% travel requirements
  • Pre and post-install commissioning and optimization as required
  • Perform CW/RF path loss testing to validate system designs on customer premises
  • Requires very good organizational skills 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) required.
  • Minimum 10 years of RF experience which included providing DAS commissioning and troubleshooting support
  • JMA Teko DAS experience a plus
  • Proficient using test equipment such as Spectrum Analyzer, PIM and Sweep testing
  • Capable of trouble shooting complex in-building Das and Passive DAS issues
  • Expertise with all aspects of telecom transmission facilities, infrastructure
  • Excellent communication/listening skills
  • Customer-relationship building
  • Technical proficiency
  • Willingness and ability to travel 50% of the time
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to effectively meet customer's needs, build productive internal and external relationships and take responsibility for customer satisfaction
  • Experience with iBwave, JDSU or similar
  • Experience with a customer-based ticketing system
