The Role

Description
This role is based remotely but if you live within a 50-mile radius of [Atlanta, Austin, Detroit, Warren, Milford or Mountain View], you are expected to report to that location three times a week, at minimum
The Role:
We are seeking an experienced strategic marketer on the Enterprise Innovation Customer Strategy & Insights team. In this role, you will be responsible for enabling product teams with customer centric activities from strategy to implementation across customer segments and brand activations in and agile product model. You will work cross-functionally to develop, test and scale businesses taking them from an idea to reality. The Customer Strategy & Insights Lead needs to be a creative problem solver, lateral thinker, possess a strong set of marketing and storytelling skills including empathy research, journey mapping, brand strategy/positioning, go-to-market planning/execution, data analysis/reporting, sales channel & customer acquisition.
The Customer Strategy & Insights Lead will lead in the development and execution marketing/go to market strategies, be agile in decision-making, can formulate a strong POV, activate and adjust plans strategically in a changing environment.
What You'll Do:

  • You will enable cross-functional Enterprise Innovation team with strategic vision and execution rooted in consumer insights, competitive research, branding & messaging, advertising/media, sales enablement, and communications.
  • You will document customer journey's, personas, and audience strategies to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • You will manage various projects in collaboration with product teams through sprint cycles and milestone reviews to review customer & brand communications strategy scope, timelines, resource allocation and roadblocks.
  • You will identify and manage best in class marketing tools and resources.
  • You will capture team learnings, analyze trends, and identify areas for continuous improvement and suggest actional recommendation in delivering entrepreneur approaches to innovation.
  • You will develop creative and communication strategies across projects and concepts that drive resonance with the customers and key stakeholders.
  • You will create and present marketing concepts and findings to key stakeholders and leadership.


Additional Description
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):

  • 3+ years of experience in a professional marketing organization, marketing; tech, connectivity, software, app-dev.
  • Solid career progression in marketing, advertising, communications or CX - Focus on concept development, marketing strategy & execution, storytelling, go-to-market planning & execution as well as a foundation in customer experience.
  • Experience in a professional marketing organization, marketing; tech, connectivity, software, app-dev is a plus.
  • Experience with creative and content development and tools necessary to execute is a plus.
  • Proven record of experience developing, implementing, managing, and measuring brand communication strategies and plans.
  • The skills to tell a synthesized and engaging story based on insights and analyses. Build short, clear presentations and present quickly and clearly to key decision-makers.
  • Ability to understand the market, develop unique consumer insights and translate them into detailed and concrete marketing strategies for product teams.
  • Entrepreneurial drive and experience working within a startup environment (strongly preferred).
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, as well as strong planning, time management and organizational proficiencies.
  • Ability to collaborate across different departments and backgrounds, strong and clear communication skills.
  • Lateral problem-solving skills. Comfortable with ambiguity. Able to identify possible solutions outside of the obvious marketing/sales space.
  • Passion for innovation and intrigued by "What-if".


What Would Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree, Masters is highly preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in a professional marketing organization, marketing; tech, connectivity, software, app-dev.
  • Experience working within a startup environment (strongly preferred).
  • Experience with creative and content development, copywriting or PR/Comms experience and tools necessary to execute is a plus


Compensation : The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of New York, Colorado, California, or Washington.

  • The salary range for this role is $93,400 - $149,200. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
  • Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
