The role:

Engine is a hyper growth company seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Customer Communications Manager. Reporting to the VP of Communications, this person will be responsible for crafting and implementing our customer communications processes. Collaborating with senior leaders from functions across the business, this position will support customer communications, crisis communications, and manage reviews sites. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and determined communications expert ready to enhance the customer experience and ensure effective tactical execution.


Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Take a bird's eye view of all customer communications channels across the organization, providing guidance and support to other departments and helping to refine processes that deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Support customer marketing efforts to drive engagement and increase satisfaction.
  • Ensure customer communications align with brand voice, go to market messages, and timely campaigns.
  • Develop and execute highly effective and innovative customer communications.
  • Support the build and promotion of compelling, relevant content to delight and further engage our customers (i.e., social engagement, case studies, testimonials, webinars, newsletters, etc.).
  • Support crisis communications preparedness and response, evolving processes to improve our outreach to customers.
  • Manage review sites and work with the Account Manager team to effectively get customers to support these initiatives.
  • Be the glue that holds together communications across customer facing teams – providing guidance and support to aligning efforts and ensuring operational efficiencies.


Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in communications along with B2B software experience
  • Proven track record in managing customer communications and reviews sites.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, with a knack for tailoring messages to different platforms and audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
