The Cloudera High School Internship is a paid, 6 week program over the course of the summer, and will take place from June 9th to July 24th. You will continue on the Teen Accelerator Program journey by elevating your comprehensive learning experience and getting a glimpse into corporate America. You will gain insights into a career in the tech industry by supporting a specific business unit and spending structured time with your manager and the team. This hands-on learning and professional development opportunity will allow you to expand your skills and grow your career in new, dynamic ways.

This is a fully remote role spanning 6 weeks*. You must be available to work Monday-Thursday, from 9:00am to 2:30pm (5 hours per day with a 30 min lunch break, for a total of 20 hours per week).

  • The week of June 30th -July 4th is a Cloudera Holiday, so you will NOT be working.

*Note: This opportunity is only for Boys and Girls Club Students from the Austin, Middle TN, & the Peninsula chapter *

*Note: If hired for this internship, your work location will be at your local Boys & Girls Clubhouse*

As a High School Intern you will:

  • Learn the basic fundamentals of how to work in a corporate environment

  • Work with your manager/team to get exposure to various skills 

  • Attend social and professional development events/workshops

  • Learn how to work on a team

  • Develop business acumen

  • And more!

We're excited about you if you have:

  • Current high school student, 16 years of age or older by June 9, 2025

  • Must have successfully completed the Mentorship Phase of the Teen Accelerator Program

  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

  • Effective time management skills

  • Strong learning mindset 

  • Eager to be challenged outside of your comfort zone in a professional business setting

  • Will bring a “Can Do” attitude

The expected hourly rate in California for this role is $20.

The expected hourly rate in Texas & Tennessee for this role is $17.
