THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a versatile Cloud Platform Architect with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our dynamic team. While a strong background in GCP is essential, this role offers the opportunity to work on a range of cloud initiatives across multiple platforms. In addition to designing and optimizing our cloud infrastructure, you will serve as a technical expert, addressing customer architecture questions about Cyera’s cloud solutions in both pre-sales and post-sales environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

GCP-Centric Architecture & Deployment:

  • Leverage core GCP services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Cloud Functions to architect and deploy scalable solutions.
  • Utilize infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager to automate resource provisioning and configuration.

Multi-Cloud Collaboration:

  • Engage in projects spanning multiple cloud platforms, ensuring seamless integration of GCP solutions with our broader cloud strategies.
  • Collaborate with product, R&D, sales engineering, and customer success teams to align cloud initiatives with business objectives.

Customer Engagement & Architecture Consultation:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Cyera’s cloud architecture by providing detailed technical guidance and answering customer architecture questions.
  • Support both pre-sales engagements and post-sales environments, ensuring clients clearly understand how our solutions can be implemented and optimized in their settings.

Performance & Optimization:

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure performance to ensure efficient resource utilization.
  • Implement automation strategies to streamline deployment, management, and operational processes.

Security & Compliance:

  • Enforce GCP security best practices, including identity and access management, network security, and data protection.
  • Collaborate with security teams to identify vulnerabilities and implement robust risk mitigation measures.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay current with emerging GCP technologies and industry trends, integrating innovative solutions into our cloud strategy.
  • Contribute ideas and best practices to enhance the efficiency and reliability of our cloud infrastructure.



Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, with a proven track record in designing, implementing, and managing GCP services.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools and automation techniques.
  • Solid understanding of networking principles, security best practices, and container orchestration.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud environments.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
  • Google Cloud certifications (e.g., Google Professional Cloud Architect or Data Engineer) are highly preferred.
  • Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus, underscoring a flexible approach to multi-cloud projects.

COMPENSATION INFORMATION: 

In addition to a standard benefits and equity package, we offer a generous salary. Final compensation will vary based on seniority and relevance of experience, location, and position requirements.

This role may be eligible for potential merit increases based on factors such as individual or company performance, time in role, and other discretionary factors.​
