As our Senior Manager for Client Strategy, you’ll play a key role in shaping the strategic direction for our clients and leading a talented, diverse team of leads, associates, and managers. In this role, you’ll design impactful, full-funnel media plans, drive results across campaigns, and build lasting client relationships, positioning our team as a trusted partner in our clients’ growth. You’ll also guide and inspire your team, fostering an environment of professional development and innovation. With a deep understanding of full-funnel media strategy, execution, and analysis, and a commitment to continuous improvement, you’ll help our clients reach their goals while driving meaningful career growth within your team.
What You Will Do
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop and lead strategic, full-funnel media plans that align with each client’s brand vision and goals, leveraging past learnings and planning tools where needed.
- Use strong budget management skills to oversee spending and forecasting, optimizing ad spend to achieve client KPIs and identifying new growth opportunities.
- Build and maintain trusted client relationships through clear, consistent communication, anticipating client needs, and proactively offering ideas for growth.
- Work directly with senior leadership and media channel teams to create, update, and present media plans and deliverables (proficiently using Keynote, PowerPoint, or G-Slides).
- Serve as the primary connection between clients, internal teams, and external partners, ensuring cohesive communication and efficient collaboration to drive omnichannel media strategies.
- Lead and motivate a team of media experts, creating an environment that encourages forward-thinking solutions, innovation, and best practices.
- Ensure operational excellence by coordinating project schedules, managing go-to-market strategies, and prioritizing team initiatives.
- Tackle challenges efficiently and effectively, resolving issues quickly to exceed team and client expectations and using feedback to promote team growth.
- Partner with media and analytics teams to create reports and dashboards that provide data-driven insights and actionable recommendations for clients.
- Oversee omnichannel campaign performance, managing budget allocation, suggesting improvements, and addressing any issues as they arise.
- Develop and present comprehensive client reports across media channels, translating data into clear, impactful insights.
- Drive test-and-learn initiatives, overseeing tests, analyzing results, and guiding strategies for continuous improvement.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, keeping up with shifting priorities while maintaining quick and effective communication with team members.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging media platforms, and technology advancements, providing clients with innovative insights and proactive recommendations.
- Develop a thorough understanding of each client’s business by analyzing industry, audience, and competitive landscape to deliver highly relevant, effective media strategies.
What You Will Bring
- 7+ years in digital marketing, with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of people management experience, with strong skills in mentoring, training, and guiding team members to achieve their potential.
- A strong background in collaboration, driving alignment and teamwork across diverse stakeholders.
- A thoughtful approach to consulting, providing insightful guidance to address client needs and strategic goals.
- A solid understanding of digital marketing and insights management, helping you craft data-informed strategies that drive results.
- A proven ability to excel in marketing digital buying environments and multi-channel marketing, creating impactful, integrated media plans.
- Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Keynote, and Google Slides to support seamless data presentation and analysis.
- A focus on client service and coaching, fostering strong relationships and supporting professional growth within your team.
- High emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build trust and inspire collaboration among clients and colleagues.
- Excellent organizational skills and experience with structured project management approaches, such as the waterfall model, to ensure efficiency and clear priorities.
- A data-driven mindset, translating analysis into actionable recommendations that exceed client expectations.
