Chatroom Operator (Part-Time) (OH/TX)About the Role:

We’re expanding our work-from-home Chatroom Operator team. Every day Drips powers millions of automated, humanized conversations for our clients, but automation isn’t enough, and Artificial Intelligence (“A.I.”) isn’t perfect. Our team maintains the highest industry standards for keeping interactions humanized. When our AI isn't certain about a consumer's message, you and your teammates will step in to read, interpret, and categorize the response appropriately.

Example:

  • A consumer messages, 'Cant now, werkin'
  • Your role would be to categorize this message and select the appropriate response, such as clicking the 'I'm at work' button.
  • Your accuracy is critical—your responses help train and improve our AI model.

Compensation & Work Schedule:

  • Pay: Up to $13/hour
  • Part-time: Up to 28 hours per week
  • Flexible shifts available (must commit to a minimum of 15 hours per week)
  • Shifts range from 8 AM – 12 AM EST
  • Work from home opportunity with remote training conducted via Zoom
  • Company 401K Match

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and respond to inbound text messages using pre-set canned responses.
  • Enhance canned responses to add context and a human touch. (Example: If a user says they’re sick, you might add: “Sorry to hear that!”)
  • Meet speed goals based on the complexity of interaction— No two interactions are the same. Finding the right balance between delivering high-quality support and efficiently managing conversation flow is essential to maintaining low wait times and minimizing backlog.
  • Maintain a high level of response quality, all interactions are evaluated using a 1-4 rating scale for accuracy and effectiveness.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Strong typing skills (no 'hunt and peck' typing)
  • Excellent grammar, spelling, and logical reasoning skills (Ability to understand user intent when messages contain typos, slang, or ambiguous phrasing, and respond appropriately based on context).
  • Clear and professional written communication
  • Reliable and responsible to adhere to a designated schedule
  • Access to a stable and secure private internet connection. (Company computer provided)

If you’re a detail-oriented, tech-savvy communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to have you on our team! Apply today!
