What we're looking for:
The Clinical Product Consultant is a member of the Customer Success Organization who will provide clinical insight into product development and testing as well have an active role in implementation and delivery of the product, interacting with customer end users and managers. The Consultant will be responsible for ensuring that the complexity of our AI technology is married with the clinical perspective and needs of our clients through data analysis and auditing. They will also be responsible for end user adoption of best practice workflows.
What you'll do:

  • Support Client Education and Success
  • Transfer knowledge of our AwareCDI Suite of products and workflows to client users
  • Utilize best practice processes for successful client adoption and use of the AwareCDI Suite
  • Monitor client Key Performance Indicators to identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Collaborate with the CX team to create a seamless, integrated, and consistent user experience
  • Collaborate with Iodine's Education Department as the subject matter expert for content and delivery of educational programs that support best practice behaviors in the industry and with Iodine products
  • Actively manage the client experience to deliver on implementation milestones, manage client support requests and expectations and monitor client adoption of the AwareCDI Suite
  • Research industry content to continually expand and improve Iodine Software's internal and external assets
  • Provide onboarding education and support for new clients and users
  • Collaborate with product teams as a subject matter expert to define and design the clinical elements that drive our product suite
  • Provide insights from client interactions to inform future research initiatives and drive product roadmaps
  • Perform medical record review to identify product and client issues and create action plans for process improvement

What we'd love to see:

  • Minimum Requirements (Education, certifications, and experience):
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Nursing (RN)
  • 5+ years of clinical experience in acute care environments, critical care or ED preferred
  • 2 years' experience in a CDI role
  • Experience with multiple clinical documentation programs, medical record coding, healthcare billing and revenue cycle management
  • Demonstrated progressive growth in roles and responsibilities in CDI leadership
  • Self-starter, who is extremely motivated to demonstrate success
  • Innovator who is looking for unique solutions that solve complex problems
  • Attention to detail, highly organized, with an absolute focus on quality of work
  • Team player DNA with a desire to solve for the interests of our clients and of our business
  • Experience presenting CDI content and information
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, if necessary


Preferred Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in healthcare related field
  • 2+ years of experience as a CDI Consultant strongly preferred, with a heavy emphasis on CDI program assessment and implementation
  • Credentialed (CCDS) and active membership with ACDIS
