As a Business Solutions Analyst within the SMA Business Solutions team at PIMCO, you will play a pivotal role in fostering effective communication and collaboration among various departments. Acting as a key liaison between business stakeholders and the SMA development team, you will bridge the gap between business needs and the technology solutions being developed.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with Business Stakeholders: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and requirements, ensuring their voices are heard and considered in the development process.

  • Facilitate Communication: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, managing expectations and ensuring that technology solutions align with stakeholder needs.

  • Conduct Workshops and Interviews: Organize and lead workshops and interviews to gather and document detailed business requirements, fostering an inclusive environment for stakeholder input.

  • Analyze Processes: Evaluate existing business processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement, proposing enhancements that reflect stakeholder feedback.

  • Lead User Acceptance Testing: Coordinate the user acceptance testing process, developing and executing test plans and scenarios to ensure that implemented systems meet stakeholder-defined requirements.

  • Provide Training and Support: Develop user manuals and training materials, and conduct training sessions to support stakeholders in the smooth transition and adoption of new technology solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university

  • 3+ years of experience in Business System Analysis, Business Analysis, Project Management or a related field; experience in fixed income is an advantage

  • Proficiency in business analysis skills, including requirements elicitation, process modeling, use case development, and user story creation

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Detail-oriented and organized

  • Excellent time management skills for self and others

  • Goal/milestone driven

  • Innately curious and eager to learn

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Familiarity with software development methodologies is beneficial

  • Familiarity with project management principles is a plus

  • Ability to adapt and stay updated with technologies and best practices

PIMCO follows a total compensation approach when rewarding employees which includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is the fixed component of compensation that is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus is used to award performance and therefore is determined by company, business, team, and individual performance.


Salary Range: $ 80,000.00 - $ 93,000.00
