We are looking for a Business Development Representative to join our Sales team. In this hunter role, you will be responsible for generating sales leads for Proof’s products. This position is an inside sales position and is an individual contributor role. This position will report into the VP of Revenue Marketing.

As our Business Development Representative, you will:

  • Partner with the wider sales team to develop territory strategy, build pipeline, and drive adoption
  • Help to Identify potential Proof use cases to help grow consumption within customer/prospect accounts
  • Perform discovery to deeply understand your target customers' business challenges and how to position Proof as the solution
  • Master the pitch of Proof’s value proposition for online notarization, eSignature, and digital identity
  • Conduct inbound and outbound activities (including email campaigns, cold calls, and outreach via social media) to prospect, educate, and develop target segmentation for leads
  • Identify, construct, and maintain an ongoing pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Qualify warm leads in/out before passing the lead to an Account Executive
  • Utilize 6sense, Zoominfo, Outreach, and Salesforce to hunt, nurture, and track new leads
  • Hit monthly, quarterly and annual quotas and performance KPIs

As our Business Development Representative, you should have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of  1-3  years of experience in SaaS sales
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and a genuine enthusiasm for technology
  • Consistent, measurable over-achievement in past experiences
  • Curiosity and hunger to learn and stay up-to-date about the big data/security /AI industry
  • Desire to build a career in technology sales
  • A high degree of ownership, business acumen and judgment
  • Technical proficiency with modern enterprise software productivity tools - Outreach and Salesforce experience required 
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a problem-solving orientation
