About the Job

GreenSpark is looking for an inspiring and accomplished Business Development Representative, to join one of the highest-performing sales teams in the software industry. Our Business Development team will be an essential component of our sales model and will help fuel our already impressive incredible growth, bringing our company into the next phase of growth. As a Business Development Representative, you’ll develop an understanding of the metal recycling industry and GreenSpark’s product to help improve one of the world’s important industries.

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Remote

Where you'll make an impact:

  • Create new business opportunities to fuel GreenSpark’s growth
  • Partner with Account Executives to achieve mutually aligned sales quotas each month
  • Engage metal recycling professionals through phone, email, and other channels to understand their challenges and identify opportunities to solve them
  • Execute on defined the outbound sales opportunity cycle for new SaaS products in the scrap yard space and help us iterate on our processes
  • Build, test and refine sales operations processes to support revenue growth
  • Assist your teammates to ensure we hit our sales and revenue goals
  • Represent, speak and set the tone for our cultural values as one our early hires

You'll be successful if you have:

  • Work with sales management to develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to create opportunities for new business
  • Conduct daily activities including pre-call research and planning
  • Make a high volume of calls per day
  • Follow-up with previous contacts (nurturing leads)
  • Maintain Salesforce records
  • A love for creating sales opportunities and finding solutions for customer workflow problems
  • Familiarity with G-Suite, SalesForce, and other software tools 
  • Professional work ethic coupled with sound judgment
  • A “Get it done” attitude with passion for building strong top-line revenue

Experience:

  • 1-2+ years of experience in SaaS, especially software sales
  • Track record of individual sales performance 
  • Basic knowledge of SalesForce, email automation and other sales tools
  • Experience selling into industrial sectors a plus
