Who we are: 

Humboldt Merchant Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of North, provides payment acceptance to merchants in specialty markets, with a focus on retail and e-commerce transactions. In addition to providing safe and secure credit card processing to a wide variety of merchants, Humboldt also supports multi-currency conversion, specialized chargeback reporting, compatibility across multiple gateways, and more.

Job Summary:
The Business Development Sales Executive will be responsible for cultivating new merchant account relationships throughout the US and Canada. Additionally, the role will encompass an ongoing account management function due to our company philosophy of building long-standing relationships with our clients. 

What you'll do:

  • Formulating and executing on successful business plans to meet and exceed the objectives set by the Executive Team.
  • Prospecting new merchant business and acquiring direct processing relationships.
  • Coordinating opportunities with members of the Executive Team for joint calling to facilitate prospecting and closing of new business.
  • Coordinating client site visits with the Executive Team to support business retention. 
  • Attend tradeshows and other events that may provide targeted marketing opportunities.

What we need from you:

  • Experience selling payment processing in a self-prospecting sales role
  • Experience selling to high risk verticals (preferred)
  • High School Diploma

Travel Requirements:  Up to 25%

Base Salary Range: $60,000 - $85,000

OTE: 120k+ (uncapped commission)
