WHO WE ARE:

SLASH is a brand and design company based in Denver, Colorado. We build brands with good bones by making it personal.

For us, personal means we enjoy what we do, who we work with, and the impact we have. We tend to work within industries that we’re actually excited to be part of, whether that be an emerging tech startup, local business, nonprofit, or brand we love.

We believe in hiring people, not positions. This is a contract-to-hire brand strategist role that can evolve into something else, depending on your skill set and experience (We refuse to miss out on hiring the right person for misinterpreting or leading with the wrong keyword). That said, here’s what we expect you to be doing the most:

THE BRIEF:

  • Develop, articulate, and execute brand initiatives within the organization and for clients

  • Support the Brand Director in crafting strategic campaigns for clients across technology, aerospace, and consumer goods

  • Interject your excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to support ongoing business activities including events, digital, and more

  • Bring your project management and organizational talents to every project. You’ll be the hero

  • Get involved in the creative process, working directly with the Creative Director and Design Director to improve brand presentation and elevate strategy

  • Make it make sense. Bring ideas to the table, pitch ‘em, and earn the budget and support to make it happen. We love to listen

YOUR SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Stellar communicator of the written and spoken word. Writing background is a plus

  • Strong organizational and project management skills

  • Doer who wants to be in the action, learn, and teach every day (we do too)

  • Incessant curiosity to know how things work

  • Why would we care if you went to college? We don’t

  • No matter what job you have at SLASH, your biggest value-add is to solve challenges, create opportunities, and make an impact

RULES

  1. Be human

  2. Trust your gut

  3. Give a sh!t

  4. Stand for something
