Sales Manager & Revenue Contributor (B2B SaaS)

Location: Fully Remote (USA)

Position Overview: We are seeking a proven sales professional who can directly contribute to outbound sales growth while also managing and coaching a high-performing, growing team. This hands-on role requires a unique blend of individual contribution (IC), team leadership, and strategic collaboration with stakeholders to help scale revenue. The ideal candidate for this role has deep experience selling SaaS products to SMB and mid-market clients, preferably in MarTech. 

In this role you’ll get to own:

Sales Leadership & Strategy:

  • Refine and execute our sales strategy to achieve revenue goals, actively participating in outbound sales efforts while ensuring the process remains scalable and repeatable.
  • Personally handle full-cycle sales, including prospecting, conducting demos, and closing deals, to contribute to team revenue goals and demonstrate best practices.
  • Continually iterate sales playbooks and best practices to ensure consistency and scalability.

Team Development & Coaching:

  • Manage and coach a growing team of sales professionals, fostering a results-driven culture that aligns with company goals.
  • Provide hands-on coaching by reviewing calls, conducting training sessions, and modeling best practices through direct client interactions.
  • Support team members in meeting and exceeding their targets, ensuring alignment with company standards and expectations.

Collaboration & Alignment:

  • Work closely with Marketing and Customer Success to align sales efforts with lead generation, product development, and customer retention strategies.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure daily sales efforts align with the company’s short and long term revenue goals.

Revenue Growth:

  • Drive new business acquisition through outbound efforts and coach the team to meet shared revenue targets.
  • Manage the sales pipeline with accurate forecasting, ensuring visibility into opportunities and performance.
  • Actively contribute to WhatConverts’ goal of achieving $6M ARR specifically through outbound efforts this year.

What we’re looking for:

B2B SaaS Expertise:

  • Proven success in driving personal sales in a B2B SaaS environment, with experience selling solutions at $500+/month while coaching and leading a team.
  • Strong background in selling MarTech solutions is highly preferred, with a deep understanding of the digital marketing/advertising industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage outbound sales cycles with SMB and mid-market customers, focusing on value-based sales.
  • Experience with the digital marketing landscape, particularly search engine marketing (SEM), is a plus.

Leadership & Management:

  • Managed and directly contributed to the success of a high-performing sales team of 5+ individuals; coaching team members through call reviews, demos, and outbound strategies. 
  • Proven ability to lead by example by consistently meeting or exceeding personal sales quotas.

Data-Driven & Strategic:

  • Strong analytical mindset with experience tracking key sales metrics and providing actionable insights to improve team performance.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Education & Experience:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a Sales Manager or senior-level sales role, with a demonstrated track record of success within B2B SaaS
  • Previous experience in marketing technology (MarTech) is a strong advantage. 
  • Experience with tools like CRM platforms, and other sales enablement technologies.
