Job Description:

The Global Client Group (GCG) leads Dimensional’s efforts to acquire long-term client relationships and increase the firm’s reach in the marketplace. Team members work closely with both institutions and financial advisors to offer focused, specialized support and ensure the delivery of a consistently impeccable client experience. The Client Communications team is responsible for helping strategically support the GCG teams and the services provided to our clients in several areas, including content project management, virtual communications, conferences, client events, and other client communications.

Conferences, and client events, have been a key part of how Dimensional has engaged with clients and prospects for decades. The Associate’s role is to work directly with the Conference Strategy team, and collaboratively with the Client Communications team, to strategically support the needs of the GCG and work to maintain an excellent client experience. With initiative and proven success, the Associate will have the opportunity to specialize in the areas of client education, conference content and strategy, and speaking and speaker training.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the team inbox to quickly field ad-hoc requests and inquiries from GCG, clients, prospects, and end-investors
  • Assisting with event strategy from start to finish, including live production of broadcast for virtual conferences and day of management for live, in person conferences
  • Interacting with clients, end-investors and external speakers during events
  • Assisting in the planning, executing, and overseeing of client experience projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Collaborating with multiple groups outside of GCG including Marketing, Corporate Services, Research, ISG, and the executive team to execute deliverables and streamline processes, including presentation content, client materials, and team resources
  • Assisting in the continuing education process to elevate our offering for clients: writing descriptions, working with events and webcast teams to keep requirements current, and communicating with GCG to assist in client events
  • Opportunity and option for national travel to oversee the smooth execution of conferences and linked events
  • Gaining a deep understanding of the required technology to execute both in-person and virtual conferences
  • Spearheading data reconciliation and reporting utilizing the CRM and PowerBI
  • Coordinating speaker assignments and training for conferences and client events
  • Collaborating with Marketing to create and maintain web content for events on MyDimensional

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required with a strong academic record
  • 1-2 years’ experience in the Financial Services Industry (including internships)
  • Strong project management skills including project planning, time management, organization
  • Ability to quickly and effectively respond to rapidly changing business needs and urgent requests
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to work equally well in a team environment and independently
  • Confidence to ask questions and work collaboratively
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to learn programs as needed
  • Intention to pursue outside investment-related education (e.g., MBA, CFA, CFP)
  • Ability to successfully pass the SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 within the first 3 months of employment
