Position Summary

In this role, you’ll be the driving force behind our customer’s implementation experience. Our customers are API Publishers and APP publishers, that consists of ISVs, Dealers, and OEMs. The Associate Implementation Specialist is a client facing role that is responsible for facilitating the delivery and execution of onboarding and development services to customers’ users virtually.

The Associate Implementation Specialist performs system configuration activities, ensures end-to-end readiness of the implemented solution, and monitors the onboarding process with a focus on minimizing time to value for the customer. Working independently or as part of a team; Associates initiate, coordinate, and facilitate onboarding and development plans while matching customer needs with purchased products. Associate Implementation Specialists resolve issues and/or escalate; accordingly, employing CDK Global implementation processes and procedures. An Associate Implementation Specialist must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, can spend long periods of time on investigating and coordinating with internal teams and have a passion for training virtually, problem solving, and a keen attention to detail and exceptional customer service skills. Must work well independently and need minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Develops strong working relationships with cross-functional team member

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Available to fulfill periodic weekend work requests

  • Queries customer to determine what functionality and configuration will satisfy the customer’s business needs, and make appropriate recommendations

  • Proficient at verifying and validating setup configurations and data to ensure accuracy.

  • Execute tasks associated with onboarding and deploying customers (App & API publishers / vendors, dealers, OEMs, and internal CDK teams), including setting up vendor access to test environments, and preparing operational systems and documentation, and communicating with customers.

  • Coordinates with cross-functional teams to ensure that dealers’ data is onboarded to the centralized data repository.

  • Performs bulk subscription services for customers according to CDK policies.

  • Monitors and tracks customer activity in the application integration development cycle to enable data driven decision-making.

  • Provides technical support to internal teams at CDK and directs them to use established processes.

  • Provides product feedback and ideas for product improvements into Product Management.

  • Collaborates with cross-functional team members to minimize time-to-value for the customer.

  • Analyzes operational processes, systems, and databases to provide operational insights and support data driven decision-making processes.

  • Acquires and maintains knowledge of integrated CDK applications.

  • Contributes to the collective knowledge base by submitting documentation of their research and findings.

  • Serves as an escalation point for production support issues escalated by Customer Care.

  • Contributes to the continuous improvement and documentation of organizational processes, including the identification and documentation of standards and best practices related to their role on the team.

  • Develops strong working relationships with cross-functional team members

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Available to fulfill periodic weekend work requests

Qualifications

  • Must possess strong organizational skills and be detail oriented.

  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Must possess excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

  • Able to work independently on multiple projects and work efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines.

  • Must have the ability to effectively manage the expectations of stakeholders regarding project deliverables.

  • Experience working with a variety of databases, analyzing data, and creating reports to support data driven decisions.

  • Experience using JIRA to submit defects and product change requests, and track progress on product changes.

  • Experience using SQL to access data in a relational database.

  • Experience using MS Excel to manipulate and prepare data to be used for a variety of purposes.

  • Experience creating and maintaining internal documentation on business processes.

  • Must be fast learner that is able to learn new systems, tools, and processes quickly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prefer experience with CDK applications including the Drive DMS.

  • Prefer experience within the Automotive Retail industry.

  • Prefer a bachelor’s degree in management information systems or related work experience

Salary Range: $54,000 - $69,500

CDK Global is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Compensation packages are based on several factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, certifications, and work location.  The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.We offer Medical, dental, and vision benefits in addition to:
