Position available in Austin or Denver
The Art Director executes the creative components of complex projects, while completing day-to-day design needs for INK and INK’s clients.
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Interprets client requests and creative briefs while maintaining the integrity of client brand standards.
- Pays attention to detail, allowing for effort and focus on the strategic nature of a project.
- Brings a project from concept to completion by working in a variety of mediums.
- Prioritizes workload and sets accurate expectations with teams.
- Works directly with the other members of the design team and communicates with other internal INK teams.
- Works on a variety of client and internal projects, including digital, print, and social.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Skills and Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional design experience, agency setting preferred
- Excellent writing skills, clear communicator
- Ability to organize and manage multiple responsibilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team setting
- Experience in B2B technology and/or renewable energy, a plus
- Strong understanding of typography and design principles
- Proficient in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
- Ability and willingness to work in Microsoft programs, notably PowerPoint
- Knowledge of After Effects and Premiere Pro with experience in motion graphics, preferred
- Knowledge of prototyping tools such as Figma, InVision, Sketch, preferred
- Knowledge of web design and wordpress, preferred
