Role Summary

CrowdStreet is seeking an Analyst with the primary responsibility of monitoring and supporting sponsors’ accountability throughout the post-fundraise reporting period for private commercial real estate assets and portfolios within our Investment Management (IM) division. You will have the opportunity to play a major role in the development of a unique and innovative alternative investment platform. This position reports to the Portfolio Manager. 

The Success You'll Build

• Serve as a resource for data entry, collection, research, analysis, and maintenance
• Enter data into CrowdStreet systems with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Facilitate communication between sponsor and investor on an as-needed basis, including reporting, corrections, training, and discipline
• Conduct or assist in the analysis of data
• Understand and present trends and anticipated outcomes in data
• Analyze property and fund financial statements to extract relevant data points
• Assist and support in the preparation of quarterly and annual investor reporting 
• Assist and support in the preparation of quarterly and annual valuations, including document retrieval

The Experiences and Competencies Necessary for Success

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as real estate, finance, or data analytics
• Strong attention to detail
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to follow up and follow through
• Demonstrated ability to work with internal and external teams to complete project tasks and track statuses
• Strong analytical skills with an interest in real estate investment analysis
• High proficiency in MS Office or GSuite, especially Excel or Google Sheets
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• High motivation and resilience; ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment while managing competing priorities
• Customer-centric attitude and excellent problem-solving skills
• Curiosity and desire to continuously learn

Preferred Qualifications

• Commercial real estate industry experience
• Finance, business, or economics background
