Quartzy is seeking a dynamic Account Executive to drive new business growth by acquiring and closing new logos. This role is ideal for a sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys strategic hunting, and has a strong track record of exceeding sales targets. You will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and closing new accounts across the life sciences and biotech industries, helping researchers and organizations streamline their lab operations with Quartzy’s innovative solutions. Quartzy is a 100% distributed team so this role can be done anywhere in the US.

What You'll Do

  • New Business Acquisition – Identify, prospect, and engage potential customers to expand Quartzy’s footprint.
  • Full Sales Cycle Management – Own the end-to-end sales process from outreach to close, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Consultative Selling – Understand customer pain points and articulate the value of Quartzy’s solutions to decision-makers.
  • Pipeline Development – Maintain a healthy sales pipeline through outbound efforts, referrals, and strategic outreach.
  • Collaboration – Work cross-functionally with marketing, customer success, and product teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale to implementation.
  • Market Insights – Stay informed on industry trends and competitive landscape to position Quartzy effectively in the market.

What We're Looking For:

  • 3+ years of SaaS sales closing experience
  • Proven track record of achieving/overachieving quota
  • Experience in closing New Logos 
  • Mid-Market/SMB Sales experience
  • Proven track record of achieving/overachieving against company sales quotas
  • A results-driven sales professional with a track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quotas.
  • A hunter mindset, energized by building relationships and creating new opportunities.
  • Skilled in consultative and value-based selling, with the ability to navigate complex buying processes.
  • Strong communicator who can engage C-level executives and key stakeholders.
  • Comfortable using CRM tools (Salesforce, Outreach, etc.) and leveraging data to optimize sales strategies.
