Favor, the operator of the popular on-demand mobile delivery service, announced today that the company surpassed one million deliveries.
Favor connects customers with personal assistants, called Runners, who will pick up and deliver anything, from burritos to iPhone chargers. Requests are placed through the Favor iOS or Android app, with an average delivery time of 35 minutes.
Favor's one millionth delivery milestone comes as the startup has been expanding quickly into new markets. In Q3 alone, Favor expanded into 7 of its current 15 U.S. & Canadian cities.
"Thanks to our incredible runners, customers, and merchants we were able to accomplish this tremendous milestone in a little over two years. We're looking forward to hitting one million more, and are working hard to accelerate the expansion of the service into new cities, both here in the U.S. as well as internationally," says Jag Bath, Chief Executive Officer and President of Favor.
The startup averages thousands of deliveries per week, with customers that order more than 5 times per month contributing to over 40% of order volume. More than 90% of all completed Favor orders receive 5 star ratings.
"We are heavily focused on perfecting our operations to ensure that we continue to deliver the level of service our customers have come to expect from us, at scale," says Bath.
Favor boasts more than 800,000 deliveries this year through the end of October, putting the company on track to complete more than 4x the deliveries completed last year.
