Coworking Away From SXSW, March 14 at 10 a.m.

We know, it’s blasphemy, but SXSW burnout is real. Besides, some of you just have work to do. Meet at Cafe Creme.

SXSWi official closing party presented by Media Temple, March 15 at 9 p.m.

Once you’re recharged, get ready to rage again. Tuesday night teardown is at Stubb’s BBQ. Big Boi headlines, and anyone with a SXSW Interactive pass can attend.

LegalZoom Customer Care Career Fair!, March 15 at 5 p.m.

LegalZoom is growing, and they’re in search of talented customer care specialists. At this event, you’ll be able to tour their facility and meet hiring managers. The company offers a play hard, work hard environment that includes a laid back dress code, full gym with towel service, ping pong tables, half-court basketball court, meditation and yoga classes, large screen TV’s with couches and a free breakfast every Friday morning.

Free Crash Course: Programming with Ruby, March 16 at 6 p.m.

Ruby is the language that powers the framework Rails that has built some of the most popular sites of the last decade. Join us for a free crash course on the basics of programming in Ruby, and see what fun and powerful things can be built with it.

Writing @Rackspace: Learn Python the Hard Way, March 16 at 6:30 p.m.

You’ll be working through the free book Learn Python the Hard Way as a group. This first week, you’ll set up Python on your computer and then work through Exercise 1.

Mobile Makers: Android/Java Development with Women Who Code, March 17 at 6:30 p.m.

Come out to The Iron Yard to learn mobile development with Java and Android. This course, hosted by Women Who Code Austin, is for Object Oriented/Java programmers who want to learn Android. Content will be intermediate level.
