Opcity is opening a second Austin office housing 200 employees.

Part of realtor.com, Opcity uses artificial intelligence to connect customers with real estate professionals based on their specific needs. Opcity’s office is realtor.com’s largest by far, and the new location will serve as a product and engineering hub.

“We are scaling and expanding really quickly. It’s a super exciting time at Opcity and I can’t imagine a better place than Austin to keep growing,” CEO Ben Rubenstein told Built In.

With their agent matching technology, Opcity makes it easier for real estate agents and consumers to connect. In the new office, its engineering teams will focus on creating tools to make the homebuying journey easier and smoother for consumers.

Opcity plans on moving into the new 129,444 square-foot office property at 901 E 6th St. in the fall. Design features of the space will include ample natural light, wood ceilings, and spaces designated to specific regions.

The 200 new and existing employees will primarily be on the company’s engineering, data science and analytics teams.

Did we mention perks? The office will have a fully stocked kitchenette, a dog park and showers. It is also conveniently located near many restaurants and the highway and Metrorail.

Opcity currently employs 600 people in various sales, marketing and finance teams at its headquarters in Austin. And according to Rubeinstein, the decision to double down on Austin was an easy one.

“We are excited to attract a lot of top talent in a cool up-and-coming neighborhood,” he said.
