What they do: There’s no time like the present to seek out an extra helping hand. Offering everything from babysitters and nannies to tutors and senior care, Care.com is on a mission to make it easier for people to find high-quality, efficient and affordable care for their loved ones. The consumer-focused platform connects families to caregivers and provides caregivers with work.

True to their name: Keeping true to the company name, Care.com’s benefits are designed to cater to the needs of employees, and by extension, their families. That includes everything from breastfeeding support and on-demand tutoring to their own Care.com memberships and access to support and resources through LifeCare Online. Employees are also able to extend that care into the community. In addition to enabling team volunteer opportunities, the company matches charitable contributions and offers paid volunteer time for team members.

Open roles for all levels of expertise: Whether your experience is more creative or technical, Care.com has a lot of open roles to fill. While marketing mavens can put their skills to use as analysts, managers or directors, sales leaders can make an impact through business development, account management and enterprise sales. Front-end, back-end and full-stack engineers are in luck with positions covering a range of experience levels. Also be sure to look out for roles across design, data and analytics, finance, operations, and more.

Collaborate and communicate: Curious about the culture at Care.com? Applications architect Rob Hammond appreciates the collaborative engineering environment that opens up lines of communication within the organization: “One thing that really stands out about the culture at Care.com is our weekly design and architecture meeting. Every Friday morning, the floor is open for anyone to share something they are working on with the entire engineering organization. These meetings are a wonderful opportunity to work on public speaking skills and collaborate with people you may not see on a regular basis.”
