Divergent, the company behind the world’s first end-to-end software-hardware production system for industrial digital manufacturing, has partnered with Austin-based webAI to integrate generative AI directly into industrial robotics, logistics systems and vehicles.

By combining Divergent’s expertise in digital manufacturing with webAI’s distributed AI, the partnership aims to create smarter, more secure and responsive AI-driven hardware for industries such as aerospace, defense and automotive, according to a news release.

Divergent Co-Founder, President and CEO Lukas Czinger said in a statement that the collaboration brings the companies closer to realizing a fully digital manufacturing system, enabling large-scale production of next-generation products. WebAI Founder and CEO David Stout echoed this sentiment, emphasizing that the work will also redefine how advanced hardware systems operate.
