Austin startups were highlighted on the Inc. 5000 list. Inc. magazine’s list of the fastest-growing, privately-held companies featured 135 Austin-area businesses. The highest-ranking local company was video advertising agency AdOutreach, followed by CRM platform Webforce, e-commerce firm Homestead Brands, marketing firm Digital Thrive and healthtech startup Everly Health. SailPoint went private. SailPoint, an Austin-based identity security firm, announced in April that it would be taken off the New York Stock Exchange due to an acquisition by software investment firm Thoma Bravo. The $6.9 billion deal will pay SailPoint shareholders $65.25 per share. [SailPoint]

ClosingLock raised $4M in seed funding. ClosingLock is an Austin startup that has developed a secure portal and workflow platform to protect title companies against wire fraud. The company plans to use the fresh funding to hire 10 to 15 employees, which would double the current 13-person team. [Built In Austin]
Olea Edge Analytics hired three executives. The company, which provides cities with data to optimize their utility operations, hired Jennifer Crow as its CFO. Crow was previously the CFO at CognitiveScale. Melissa Anderson, who previously led a global analyst relations team in IBM’s data and AI division, was hired as the vice president of marketing. The company’s new vice president of operations is Chris Wilke, who previously served as CTO of Datatrak and the general manager of P2 Energy Solutions. [Business Wire]
