Tesla to make hundreds of Austin hires. Electric vehicle producer Tesla is driving forward with the construction of its Texas Gigafactory manufacturing facility. With its completion projected for the end of this year, Tesla is proactively hiring for at least some 300 roles across departments like engineering, design, management and more. Living Security got $14M. The cybersecurity startup works to help companies mitigate the risk of security breaches caused by human error. It offers solutions like gamified training and management platforms. Acadeum pulled in $5M. With new funding from investors including Rethink Education and Socratic Ventures, Acadeum is equipped to further develop its marketplace platform for college courses.
