AlertMedia, a provider of risk intelligence and critical event management solutions, has acquired Pyrra Technologies, a company known for its AI-enabled social media monitoring and intelligence platform.

As part of the merger, Pyrra’s co-founders, Welton Chang and Eric Curwin, have joined AlertMedia in leadership roles, with a focus on further developing Pyrra’s technology. The combined solution is set to become available later in 2025.
