RunZero, a cybersecurity company, has announced the launch of its new runZero Platform. This cyber asset attack surface management solution combines active scanning, native passive discovery and API integrations. By unifying these approaches, runZero is able to provide comprehensive coverage across managed and unmanaged devices. This new platform is version 4.0 of runZero’s technology.
Unlike similar solutions that depend on third-party sources to inventory assets, runZero’s platform provides security visibility across both IT and OT environments by offering both active and passive native approaches. By combining integrations with its own active scanning and passive discovery technology, runZero eliminates the need for multiple tools and provides customers with a unified solution. This approach also allows runZero to uncover previously unknown devices and assets, providing security teams with a more complete view of their environments.
Alongside the launch announcement, runZero introduced a free Community Edition of its platform designed for small businesses, individuals and security researchers with 100 or fewer assets. This edition also includes active scanning, integrations and runZero’s new passive discovery capabilities.
