Satellites will soon be able to capture higher quality images for commercial purposes, and Bill Murray just dropped his latest NFT collection on Coinbase. If you’re feeling lost, don’t worry. Albedo raised $48M. Albedo is a satellite imaging startup with headquarters in Austin and Denver. The startup is developing satellites that fly less than 450 kilometers above the Earth’s surface to produce 10-centimeter optical imagery, which was only made recently made legal for commercial purposes. Albedo will use this Series A round to finish its first satellite and develop the software to support satellite operations and deliver images to users. [Built In Austin]

Live Earth pulled in $10MFounded in 2015, Live Earth is a business intelligence tool that uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to integrate multiple data sources into an intuitive format. The company said it will use the funding to grow its platform and reach more clients. [GlobeNewswire]

Project Venkman was featured in Built In’s Future 5 series. Comedic actor Bill Murray dropped the final installment of his biographical NFT collection on Friday. The collection was created with help from Chive Media Group and Project Venkman, an up-and-coming NFT startup helmed by CEO Gavin Gillas and several Chive executives. In addition to Murray’s NFT collection, Project Venkman also powers memberships and NFT programs for other celebrities and brands, including retailers, airlines and coffee companies. Spearix gained new funding. Based in Cedar Park, Spearix has developed a multi-core radio processor that can adapt its performance and power based on environmental conditions. The undisclosed amount of funding came from the venture capital arm of Emerson, which believes Spearix’s technology will improve the wireless communication capabilities for Emerson’s Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) portfolio. CynergisTek was acquired. CynergisTek, which provides cybersecurity services to hospitals, announced in May that it planned to be acquired by Clearwater Compliance for $17.7 million. Now that the deal is finalized, CynergisTek will no longer be publicly-traded and will operate as a subsidiary of Clearwater. Clearwater claims that its recent acquisitions of CynergisTek and TECH LOCK make it the most comprehensive portfolio of cybersecurity solutions in the healthcare industry.
