Tesla is joining forces with ACCAs construction is well underway for its Texas Gigafactory, the EV manufacturer is planning at least 5,000 new hires to fill roles at the facility. To help do so, it partnered up with Austin Community College to launch a 14-week program where students will join Tesla’s team throughout the duration of their manufacturing training. Participants will work on designing, building and maintaining machines through Tesla’s tech. [Built In Austin]

Serenity Kids raised $7MThe company, which produces baby and toddler foods, grew its revenue 200 percent year-over-year in 2020, and it predicts further growth this year of 150 percent. With its products available at retailers like Whole Foods, Serenity Kids is investing its Series A funding in innovating its product, expanding its testing standards and growing its retail distribution.
