With a fitness room, a mother’s room, concierge service, huddle spaces, indoor parking and more, Industrious opens their Austin coworking location downtown this week in the recently constructed high rise at 5th and Colorado Street.

“We are excited to bring the Industrious model to the Austin business community, which is widely known for its entrepreneurial spirit and technology-focused startups,” said Jamie Hodari, CEO and cofounder in a statement.  “As more businesses look to grow their presence in Austin, the introduction of our hospitality-meets-coworking philosophy will revitalize the professional coworking experience.”

Described by Industrious’s team as a sophisticated, refined and modern aesthetic, the 19,000 square-foot space is “boutiquesized” and smaller than most of the work spaces downtown that average 50,000-80,000 square feet. Their local managers often hail from boutique hotel backgrounds, giving members a personalized experience, like gifting a bottle of champagne to a member getting married, and building upon the hospitality spirit.

Members can expect member-only lectures, Bloody Mary happy hours, vendors like Bribery Bakery, Rockstar Bagels, Tacodeli, and Summermoon Coffee on site, and monthly discounted rates to utilize Luxe Valet service.

Renting a desk begins at $500 per month and private offices start at $925 a month, with flexible month-to-month agreements for companies in need of a regional space. The new space contains 83 private offices in addition to common areas for companies to share, socialize and collaborate. Access to the building is 24/7.

The Austin space marks Industrious’s 12th location across the country, after opening their pioneer office in Brooklyn in 2013.
