ABOUT THIS ROLE
Zogo is HQ'd in Austin, Texas, however, we are open to this role being remote!
As the Head of Product, you will serve as the top product and technology executive for Zogo. In addition to driving Zogo's product strategy and roadmap, you will be responsible for setting the culture and cadence for the product and technology teams, fostering a strong culture, increasing velocity of product development and projects, achieving schedule predictability, and cementing best practices as we move forward with aggressive growth targets.
Where you will make impact:
Vision & Strategy. Serve as a product visionary and consumer champion for Zogo. Set the pace and tone for delivering an innovative and pioneering experience.
Product & Platform Roadmap. Develop the product and platform roadmap, continually assessing and optimizing for both the long-term strategic needs of the business and near-term scalability and speed.
Technology Platform. Oversee the technology infrastructure, platform, mobile apps, third party integrations, compliance, design, testing, and maintenance efforts, with a focus on optimizing performance and scalability.
• Lead with Data. Develop a metrics framework to inform on engagement and retention and foster a data-driven product culture that is fueled by the core growth metrics
Leadership. Serve as a key leader of the Zogo organization while executing with good judgment, processes, and data-driven decision making. Create the best technology, product, and data team, with the right mix of industry experience and fluency with the customer and category. Lead a team that balances the serious nature and tone of a professional company with the move-fast- and- execute tone of a tech company.
Culture. Ensure team members are excited to go to work every day, ready to produce results and make a positive difference in the world. Architect, codify, and continue to improve the team member journey from recruiting to onboarding to thriving at Zogo.
YOUR EXPERIENCE

  • 10+ years as a product-centric-engineering or engineering-centric-product leader in consumer facing, high growth businesses
  • Experience developing and/or scaling products within the consumer marketplace sector within an agile environment
  • Experience with building large scale, service-oriented systems, optimizing for performance and quality in both operational and developer performances. Ideally experienced with a broad range of systems, API's, protocols, and standards
  • Data and metrics driven with experience analyzing product trends, anticipating and identifying opportunities, and developing insight at a strategic level
  • Mission Driven. The ideal candidate will believe in Zogo's mission to break down entry barriers and democratize access to financial education
  • Leadership. You lead by example and motivate through actions and inspire others to do more
