How You’ll Support Our Mission
Our vision is to provide our customers with meaningful information that leads to actionable outcomes, improving community health and safety through the power of data. As a member of ESO’s product team, you will be collaborating with our hospital product domain, business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and engineers to support our customers’ in achieving success with adherence to regulatory compliance requirements of regional, state, and national data standards. The ideal candidate has a passion for data and learning new product technologies.
Reporting to the Product Manager of Registry Compliance, you will be part of our Product Strategy team based in Austin, TX. We are open to candidates who are based in Eastern Time Zone locations and to work fully remote.
What You’ll Be Doing – the day to day
You will be responsible for executing our registry compliance product strategy. You’ll know how to interpret clinical data dictionary documentation provided by regional, state, and national governing organizations and translate them into clear product requirements that will be used to update our Patient Registry product. You’ll consistently assess the value/why behind any action and collaborate with cross-functional teams in creative problem solving.
Our product team members lead by championing a culture of personal ownership and customer-focused execution. We love those who pride themselves on how they contribute through excellent solutions and end-user experiences.
You can expect to:
- Serve as a clinical subject matter expert.
- Interpret trauma industry requirements that solve data centric problems for our customers.
- Work alongside product and engineering teammates to ensure that they have everything they need to size, accept, and execute on work.
- Triage data issues throughout the life cycle of development and those reported by users.
- Leverage performance metrics to evaluate opportunities for improvement and work with the product team to implement changes where profitable, such as tooling to increase efficiency
Who You Are - some of the essential things required to be successful in the role:
- Experience in a clinical setting.
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Strong experience in analytical problem-solving ability and to think about the bigger picture.
- Proven ability to be detail-oriented, multi-task, and coordinate with multiple teams.
Who You Are – it’s desirable if you have any of the following:
- An understanding of data interoperability.
- An understanding of XML and XSD.
- Experience working in intercultural environments and collaborating with diverse teams.
