As an Account Executive, you will be an expert in selling ActivTrak. In this role you will: 

  • Acquire new customers and expand relationships with existing customers. 
  • Develop and execute against the territory plan. 
  • Provide superior customer service throughout the full sales cycle with a consultative approach. 
  • Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships within our organizations. 
  • Lead meetings with prospects and design client presentations, web demonstrations and proposals to illustrate the value of ActivTrak. 
  • Utilize Salesforce to set daily activities and accurately forecast opportunity pipeline. 
  • Work closely with Solution Consultants and others in the business to build pipeline and close deals. 

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years in a quota carrying sales role with demonstrated achievement.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment.
  • Must be incredibly self-motivated and possess a sense of urgency and desire to lead .
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate (oral and written) effectively.
  • Experience with a high call volume, fast paced phone sales environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals by phone while maintaining established sales quotas.
  • Experience leveraging MEDDPICC in the sales cycle.
  • Experience with SFDC.
  • Ability to understand sales numbers and manage to daily metrics.
  • Ability to make adjustments to maintain deal velocity and momentum.
  • Ability to understand and communicate business concepts.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business issues and requirements and be creative in suggesting new approaches.

How do you collaborate with other teams in the company?

Like most of my colleagues, I work remotely, so in order to collaborate with other teams, I rely quite a bit on Slack. Email is great, but Slack provides a “real time” feel like walking around the office. It also allows me the ability to share customer records and information quickly. I also use meeting software to meet “face-to-face” when needed.

Being a Remote-First company, we spend the majority of time working from our homes, but over the past year those local to the Austin area have started going into the office on Thursdays. This is easily my favorite day of the week; as it is always a fun environment. We build relationships, camaraderie, and we have lunch provided in the office!
