We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Connectivity team. You are a well-rounded backend or full-stack engineer passionate about building and delivering reliable, scalable microservices and infrastructure for SaaS products.
As part of this team, you will have the chance to:

  • Work with cutting-edge technologies and be part of the SaaS journey for SailPoint
  • Think creatively about ways to continuously improve how to develop and enhance products, features, and apps
  • Work as part of a passionate, high-performing team and receive thoughtful critique, direct coaching, and opportunities to significantly impact the entire engineering organization.


Responsibilities

  • Write code that is clear, well-tested, optimized, and thoroughly documented.
  • Deliver efficient, maintainable, robust Java and Go-based microservices.
  • Collaborate with peers on designs, code reviews, and testing.
  • Learn and be a champion for industry standard best practices
  • Delivery of commitments on time that meet product and engineering requirements


Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience in Java or Go
  • Experience working in any of the cloud technologies - AWS, GCP, Azure
  • Demonstrable experience writing or refactoring code to be scalable and performant
  • Ability to work independently on any task
  • Passion for writing simple, clean, and efficient code
  • Unwavering commitment to unit/functional/integration testing to ensure maintainable, high-quality software.
  • Ability to document and demonstrate solutions by using flowcharts, diagrams, and whiteboarding


Education

  • BS in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent work experience preferred, not required
